Dear StamperZine readers,
The new year causes many of us to reconsider our priorities, focus on what is most important to us and make some difficult decisions. This is in fact the case for me, and one of my difficult decisions involves the future of this e-zine.
When I started StamperZine!, I was unaware of the existence of other online magazines. I wanted to offer on online stamping magazine for many reasons. One of those reasons was somewhat selfish: I wanted a place to showcase some of my own artwork. The other was to provide information about what new companies have to offer, what the latest trends are, and get to know more of you out there on the online stamping community.
I first heard about rubberstampingideas a couple of months after I started StamperZine!. Since then, another wonderful online e-zine, S.S. Reflections was launched. I believe that a large part of what I offered in StamperZine! is now available online with these sites. Therefore, I have decided to discontinue StamperZine! in its current form, in order to focus my energies on my graphics design (Blue Mesa Designs) and rubber stamping (Ink-N-Rubber Expressions, LLC) businesses.
I will continue the StamperZine! website, mostly posting my own stamping related art projects, and stamping related information I want to continue to share with you from time to time. On occasion, I will post special featured articles by companies who choose to provide the content. The mailing list will be used to inform you of additions to the StamperZine! website.
You will see some of my work at S.S. Reflections from time to time, and I have also agreed to take on the graphics design for their ads. This is an area I truly enjoyed in the making of StamperZine! and am excited to continue at S.S. Reflections.
For this January issue, I have chosen to showcase the Asian inspired artwork of Sarah Scott. She submitted these beauties a few months ago, and I truly hope you will enjoy them, and be inspired to create!
Thanks to all of you for your support and encouragement, --Lisa
