the shimmer. There are two ways they can be used: You can pick up some of the iridescent shade and put it onto a palette, then add a little color to it, then paint with the blended shade. Another option is to use as much water as necessary to lighten the shade. After letting the paint dry, use just the iridescent shade right over the top - it adds shimmer back without changing the shade you've already painted.
Bleach Technique The bleach technique is great with Twinkling H2O's. Here's how it works. Stamp and emboss the design in black on a dark colored cardstock. Use a small tipped waterbrush with regular household bleach in it and "paint" the inside of the design. You may need to do several coats of bleach to get enough color out of the cardstock. Let the cardstock dry completely. Then paint with Twinkling H2O's in the bleached areas. On the sample below, the barrel of apples was stamped in black pigment ink on navy cardstock, then embossed with black detail embossing powder. The image was bleached using a waterbrush filled with bleach. After drying thoroughly, it was painted using Heavenly White, Garnet, Cranberry, Bougainvillea, Indian Copper, Key Lime, Fern, Bronze Medallion, and Egyptian Gold.
