and stamp image onto front of card. Press firmly so as to cover the whole piece. Set aside to air dry.
Prepare ink pads - take lids off of Eggplant, Orchid and Copper - lay out in this order. Lay your white textured cardstock onto blotter paper. Ink up the black tip of the stylus with Eggplant ink. Starting in one corner of the cardstock, press the black tip to the paper three times in row. Re-ink and start again, repeating until entire piece is covered with ink. You don't need multiple layers of this color - just apply the color side by side. Blot off tip onto blotter paper to remove excess ink when done.

See Figure 5.

Turn your paper ¼ turn. Ink up tip with Orchid, and repeat process above. You can now start to see the effect of the two shades of color - they are creating depth because of the shades and the pattern in the tip. Blot off tip onto blotter paper to remove excess ink when done.

See Figure 6.

Flip over stylus tool to use white sponge tip. Gently blot the two first colors together - not so hard to eliminate the pattern of the pears, but enough to just soften the two colors together.

See Figure 7.

Turn your paper ¼ turn again and ink up the black tip with copper. Randomly apply the ink to the piece. This time, you are not covering the whole piece of paper with copper - you are just adding it as a highlight color here and there. When done, blend softly again with white sponge tip.

See Figure 8.

Ink up the Pear Background with black pigment ink. Stamp the Pear Background onto the piece. When done, cover entire piece with clear embossing powder, shake off excess and heat until melted. You will feel a texture to the piece when cool.

Cut this piece in half one way, and then in half the other way - cut pieces will be approximately 1-1/2"x2-1/8". Affix these pieces to the black cardstock, and then onto the folded card, centering it.

On remaining half sheet of pink cardstock, stamp Single Pear Small and Pear Text Small with pigment ink and emboss with clear powder. Cut out images. Using foam tape, adhere images to card as shown. Twirl both pieces of copper wire around a thin pencil or pen, slide off. Poke a small hole into pear image where the stem meets the pear, place one end of each piece of wire into hole.

Sign the back of the card with your name and date, and you're done!
