Create vivid backgrounds with this simple paper mosaics technique!

Puzzled about how to make a stunning background for your cards? Look no futher! This paper mosaics technique is fun, easy, and  creates a wonderful look and texture for your cards.
Best of all, it can be varied to produced different looks by selecting different papers and sizes!

Materials:

• Paper Trimmer
  
• 1 sheet of 8.5" x 11" matte sticker paper
  
• 3 or 4 sheets of paper in various colors cut to 4.25" x 5.5"  sizes
  
• Card stock for card base
  
• Card stock for layering
  
• Gold embossing powder
  
• Gold Leafing pen
  
• Glue Marker
  
• Ruler & Pencil
  
• Double stick tape
  

Instructions:

Preparation

1. Cut sticker paper in half to a 4.25" x 5.5" size.
   
2. Cut colored papers  into 5.5" strips of various widths.
   
3. Peel the backing from one half of the sticker paper. Removing only half of the backing makes it easier to line up the paper strips on the sticker paper.
